It is interesting to note how, increasingly, web applications mimic those on the desktop. This means that you can, for instance, choose to type and edit your documents online instead of installing Office or some other software.

The creators of Adobe Reader and Photoshop have place their bets on Adobe Buzzword as the tool for editing documents from the web, taking advantage of all that Flash, also their creation, has to offer.

In appearance, it is simple and minimalist; the controls are either reduced or hidden so that they don’t get in the way of the main task, which is editing a document.

Adobe Buzzword provides you with all the text formatting that you would find in most applications of this type, as well as a range of fonts. It also lets you insert pictures and tables as well as comments.

Another exceptional characteristic of Adobe Buzzword is its ability to bring together simultaneously a number of users so that they can edit a document collaboratively.

Adobe Buzzword lets you save and download the documents you have created in the following formats: PDF, DOC, XML, DOCX, RTF, TXT, ODT and EPUB .

The free version only lets you upload 5 documents for editing.
